The End User Computing Product Specialist is a technical role that sits within ICT Operations. It has delegated responsibility for key tasks enabling operational continuity and future development of Trust user device estate within their allocated specialism. This is a full time role, primarily based on site, with some home working possible where operationally appropriate. Normal operational hours are 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri, with a rota in operation between team members to ensure these hours are covered. The post holder will also be required to participate in an on‑call rota to provide support for any significant issues outside normal operational hours. Responsibilities
* Act as a key technical authority within the End User Computing (EUC) team. Providing in person and remote support to Trust staff.
* Provide proactive specialist advice, development, and management of systems within your area of specialism.
* Work with EUC Senior Product Specialists on the management and configuration of Trust deployment tools such as Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
* Coordinate and complete upgrade and maintenance activities including patch, upgrade, hot‑fix deployment.
* Review and remediate non‑compliant endpoint devices within the remit of the End User Computing Team.
* Design, develop and deploy proactive performance and integrity monitoring for the supported services.
* Assist with resolution of Service Desk calls and underlying problem diagnosis as appropriate in line with agreed SLAs or OLAs.
* Raise, implement, and review technical change requests in line with the Trust ICT Change Management Policy.
* Work with Infrastructure Operations and EUC Senior Product Specialists to review and develop solutions and technical designs.
* Work with Project Managers and Programme Managers.
* Lead on non‑project work packages to deploy minor works and agreed solutions.
* To work onsite or remotely as directed by EUC Manager and/or operational need.
* To be part of an on‑call rota.
* To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role as directed by the EUC Manager.
