Overview
BaxterStorey is seeking a General Assistant to deliver genuine hospitality and impeccable service. This role focuses on serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing guests’ needs and requests efficiently. Responsibilities
* Service - serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner and address guests’ needs and requests efficiently
* Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their journey, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly manner
* Teamwork - collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and contribute to an inclusive and safe working environment
* Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations and location-specific food service guidelines
* Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
Qualifications
* Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service
* You draw satisfaction from working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment
* Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
* Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
* Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
* Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
