Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston upon Thames Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing About the Role: Protocol Education is looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in schools across Kingston upon Thames. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve their potential in a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs. Work alongside teachers to adapt lessons and resources to ensure accessibility. Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development. Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour. Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Requirements: Experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or similar settings). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
