At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our focus extends to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

As part of our team, you will be supported by our dedicated SEN/SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each student’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Provide holistic support that advances both educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and offer constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
*
Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
*
Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
*
Enhanced DBS: We can assist in obtaining this if needed.
*
References: Two professional references required.
*
Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It is crucial that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* We do not guarantee a set amount of work or expenses coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
