Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Grays Court Hotel. In this role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while contributing to our renowned dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
* Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
* Supervise food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
* Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior CDP looking to advance their career, or a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel setting.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong leadership skills would be welcome.
