Overview
Pegasus Group is seeking talented Urban Designers, Layout Designers, and Masterplanners to join our esteemed Design service team at our Leeds Office. We are part of a leading UK multi-disciplinary development consultancy that works on significant projects across the UK, including large scale urban extensions, regeneration strategies and renewable energy schemes.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Design team, you will prepare and oversee conceptual urban design and planning work, feasibility studies, master planning, development briefs and design strategies for residential and mixed‑use schemes for developers and private clients.
Qualifications
* Hold a relevant qualification in design.
* Experience in private practice, consultancy or commercial housebuilding.
* Visioning and masterplanning for large and small sites.
* Commercially astute approach to residential layout design.
* Producing drawn and written information for outline, full and reserved planning applications.
* Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills.
* Self‑motivated with an excellent eye for detail.
* Working knowledge of planning system elements that affect design and local authority guidance.
* Knowledge of CAD software packages.
* Experience in Vectorworks (CAD) is an advantage.
