Salary: £27,579.00 - £29,445.00 Per Annum

Introduction
You will provide administrative support across our range of work including habitat restoration, conservation grazing, community engagement and volunteering. You will ensure our reserve office is a safe and enjoyable place to work and be an important link with our partners and supporters.
Whats the role about?
Youll provide friendly, efficient business support to help our teams and volunteers work smoothly from financial and IT administration to organising materials, bookings, travel and events.
Youll build positive relationships with colleagues and partners, handling confidential information with care and representing the RSPB professionally in every interaction.
Youll support the smooth running of our office spaces through effective day-to-day coordination, helping to maintain a safe, well-organised and welcoming environment.
As the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors, youll offer a warm, helpful welcome and ensure everyone has a positive experience with us.
Essential criteria
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to share this knowledge and support others in developing their skills.
* Knowledge of budget management processes, terminology and financial administration.
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of audiences by phone, email and in person.
* Ability to organise meetings and events, coordinating logistics, resources and all related administration.
* Proven ability to manage time effectively, particularly when working under pressure or balancing competing priorities, including delegating tasks where appropriate.
* Able to identify issues early and take initiative to develop practical, timely solutions.
* Background in providing administrative support within a large or complex organisation.
* Experience managing day-to-day office operations and contributing to a safe, well-organised working environment.
* Exposure liaising with staff at all levels in external organisations, supporting collaborative and partnership-based work.
* Good experience managing, monitoring and reporting financial information accurately.
Additional Details
* This is a 12-month Maternity Contract, Full Time role for 37.5 hours per week.
* The post is up to full time but less hours will be considered for the right candidate
* Weekly attendance at site is essential but some homeworking will be considered for the right candidate
