What's involved with this role: Property Safety Team Contract Support Officer 5276046 ATR 5276046 £16.95 per hour PAYE 6 months This role is a hybrid role with the team coming together in Wareham and Weymouth, candidates must be located in or close to Dorset. UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes is required The role: The Contract Support Officer role is responsible for providing effective technical operational support to the Property Safety department across workstreams including, but not limited to, water safety, asbestos, lifting equipment, CCTV, fire detection and prevention, fire risk assessment and action management, security, TV aerial systems, emergency lighting, radon extract systems, white goods and fall arrest equipment. Key accountabilities: Ensure all servicing, maintenance, and works contracts meet performance standards, including time, cost, quality, customer satisfaction, and information provision. Lead day-to-day coordination and operational management of Property Safety servicing, maintenance, and works delivered by internal teams and external service providers. Support Contract Managers in contractor management, including arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes, preparing and analysing KPIs, and leading actions when contractors underperform. Conduct periodic audits and reconciliations of asset and equipment records, including automated system configurations for service frequency. Collaborate with Contract Managers to design and implement new systems, procedures, and processes that ensure and evidence servicing and maintenance compliance. Assist in developing and maintaining operating manuals and user guides in conjunction with Contract Managers. Key criteria: Understanding of Property Services, Property Safety, or Asset Management-related contracts. Awareness of KPIs and cost models relevant to contract and performance management. Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to take initiative while collaborating with a supportive team. Strong data skills, including the ability to interrogate, manipulate, and interpret technical data. Experience producing clear, accurate reports to meet a range of requirements.
