Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
* Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute creative ideas for meal preparation.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition; report any maintenance issues as necessary.
* Follow proper food handling techniques to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
