Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced joiner who can perform a variety of carpentry tasks with precision and care. The role offers a regular Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a work-life balance while providing a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute a range of carpentry and joinery tasks, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of structures and fixtures.
* Work on projects such as building frameworks, installing doors, windows, and cabinetry, and constructing partitions.
* Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards.
* Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain and manage tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Demonstrated experience as a joiner, with comprehensive knowledge of carpentry techniques.
* Skilled in using both electrical and manual tools and measurement instruments.
* Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
