We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Gosport, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert psychiatric care within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
* Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
* Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
* Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
* Full GMC registration
* Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
* Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
* Proven experience in a consultant-level role
