A specialist SEN school in Wigan is seeking a skilled and committed Teaching Assistant - SEN to join their team. This is a hands-on Teaching Assistant - SEN role in a challenging environment that is suited to resilient and empathetic candidates with relevant experience supporting those with additional needs.
The Role - Teaching Assistant (SEN)
You will support pupils with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and learning needs, working both 1:1 and in small groups. You will play a key role in implementing support plans, managing behaviour, and helping pupils access learning effectively.
This role requires confidence, consistency, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
