Sealing and Packing Supervisor Location: Portadown Area Hourly Rate: £14.35 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Sealing and Packing Supervisor to oversee operations at a well-established Food Manufacturing company in the Portadown area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to manage a busy production line, ensuring the smooth operation of sealing and packing processes and delivering high-quality products on time. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the sealing and packing teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity are maintained. Oversee daily operations of sealing and packing lines, ensuring efficient packing processes and achievement of production targets. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Train and support team members in proper packing procedures, machinery operation, and health and safety practices. Perform regular quality checks to ensure packed goods meet company specifications and standards. Organize and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during both morning and afternoon shifts. Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and logistics, to address and resolve any operational issues. Monitor production performance and report on any deviations from targets or quality issues. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in the packing process. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding packaging and sealing. Skills & Experience Required: Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in sealing and packing. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and managing teams to meet production goals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams. Solid understanding of health, safety, and quality standards within a manufacturing setting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Additional Information: Full-time, permanent position with rotating shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
