Operational Marketing LeadBromley, Kent£65,000 - £75,00012 Month Fixed Term ContractFull timeAs our ‘Operational Marketing Lead’ you will be reporting into our Chief Customer and Operations Officer and will have responsible for marketing and customer engagement activity for Foresters. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.You will be engaging and retaining existing customers, to grow value from our customer relationships, and to support new customer acquisition.Day to day you will support your team with work priorities, coaching, decision making and ensure a high quality of output.Your day to day will include: * Understand the business strategy and objectives and how they relate to the marketing and customer engagement priorities * Create marketing and customer engagement delivery plans that meet the agreed priorities for Marketing, to drive customer retention and grow value (e.g. increase customer relationships, new product sales, additional AUM, supporting new launches) * Line management of a small team of marketeers * Manage the workflows through the team to deliver quality output to agreed timescales, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and sign-off * Manage activities to be within agreed budget limits (e.g. manage digital agency to agreed agency budget etc) * Ensure all activities have clear briefs that meet objectives, measurable KPI’s and data briefs to draw robust conclusions on activity * Support the team to develop and learn * Monitor competitor and industry landscape for new ideas and best practice, to bring the best of the outside into Foresters in practical ways * Work closely with other teams and stakeholders across the business to help solve problems and create seamless customer experiences * Be proactive and open-minded to new opportunities and ways of doing things, helping to spot areas to improve and gaps to fill to drive customer and commercial benefits * Keep up to date (and ensure the team stay up to date) with industry regulation and the role Marketing plays in ensuring Foresters stay compliant - including how customer communications can support customers to achieve good customer outcomes under Consumer Duty * Present work and recommendations in an engaging and easily understandable wayWorking hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. Start times are flexible from 8.30am to 9.30am. After a successful training period there is flexibility to work from home for 2- 3 days a week.What we require * People management including day to day workflow management and developing team members * Marketing in a regulated environment, ideally financial services * Creating customer marketing and communications across a variety of channels (DM, email, social etc) * Digital Marketing experience of running and optimising a customer website and creating great online and multi-channel customer journeys * Good commercial acumen using data (marketing, digital and commercial) to draw accurate conclusions to inform decisions * Building and delivering marketing plans that achieve tangible and measurable commercial results * Cross-functional thinking and working - building relationships across multiple teams and being proactive around working with others across an organisation * Using strong planning and organisational skills to manage projects to timelines * Being creative in developing ideas and problem solving – making things happen * Passionate about customers and keen to drive customer engagement by optimising communicationsClearly presenting ideas and recommendationsWhat we offer you * Basic salary from £65,000 - £75,000 per annum * Discretionary annual bonus dependent on your performance and company performance provided you are employed on bonus payment date. * Annual holiday allowance of 28 days holiday plus bank holidays * Life Assurance (based on pensionable earnings) * Generous contributory Pension scheme * Season Ticket Loan * 1 days paid charitable workday * Employee Assistance ProgrammeAbout usForesters Financial is not your typical financial services provider.
