About the role

As Product Manager, you willsupport the business to develop and manage EPSL’s Products and Proposition, ensuring they deliver against our target market customer needs, commercial objectives, and FCA regulatory responsibilities.

What you'll be doing
* Being EPSL’s funeral plan product champion, ensuring delivery of excellent customer outcomes and fair value in line with regulatory requirements.
* Managing the Product Oversight and Governance for all open and closed products including monitoring key KPIs and completing reviews within agreed timeframes.
* Identifying opportunities to improve our competitive positioning through new or enhanced products informed by market, competitor and consumer insight as well as legal or regulatory changes.
* Managing the EPSL Pricing Framework to ensure all Appointed Representatives align with the process and owning the identification and resolution of any exceptions.
* Overseeing the delivery of our customer research programme through an external research agency. Analysing and reporting on results and developing action plans to respond to results as required.
What you'll need to have
* Experience of managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders, at all levels.
* Strong written, verbal and analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
* Experience in a product management and/or development role in a regulated market, ideally funeral plans or financial services.
* The ability to build collaborative and productive relationships across teams.
What makes you stand out
* FCA regulation expertise, particularly relevant experience of development and maintenance of Products in a regulated environment.
* Knowledge of the funeral plan market is ideal, but not essential.
* Experience of analysing data and presenting findings in clear and compelling way.
* A commitment to make an exceptional contribution both as an individual and as part of a team.
