We're looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Institute for Professional and Flexible Learning as Senior Manager for Apprenticeships and Employer Relations. This is a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our degree apprenticeship provision, driving growth, and ensuring excellence in employer partnerships.
You'll lead aim to develop a high-performing business development team, manage key strategic relationships, and ensure our apprenticeship delivery meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. With your commercial acumen and passion for innovation, you'll help us meet ambitious growth targets and make a real impact on learners, employers, and society
What you'll be doing
* Leading the development of new apprenticeship programmes in collaboration with faculties
* Driving employer engagement and maintaining strategic partnerships
* Overseeing the sales function for apprenticeships and Learning at Work
* Ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules and Ofsted requirements
* Managing performance, budgets, and quality metrics across the team
What we're looking for
* Significant experience in apprenticeship management and employer relations
* Proven leadership of sales teams and strategic partnerships
* Strong understanding of funding and regulatory frameworks
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* A degree or equivalent professional experience, with evidence of continued professional development
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
