The role
Job Title: Part-Time Chef (Sunday & Holiday Cover)
Location: Cheltenham
Pat rate- £14-£16 per hour
Contract- ongoing temp
Hours: Sundays (6-hour shift) + holiday cover as required
Shift Time: Typically 9.30am-3.30pm
Are you an experienced chef looking to pick up some extra hours? Our Cheltenham based client are looking for a reliable and efficient part-time chef to support their café kitchen on Sundays and during holiday cover. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a well-organised, small kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen independently during service (with support from a Kitchen Porter)
- Prepare and cook food to order
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
- Ensure smooth and efficient service for up to 26 covers

Requirements
- Previous experience working in a café or similar kitchen environment
- Ability to work independently and stay organised under pressure
- Confident cooking breakfast items and simple menu dishes to order
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Reliable and punctual
Additional Cover Required
- Wednesday 24th: 8:00am–2:30pm
- Thursday 25th: 8:00am–2:30pm
