At Teaching Personnel, we are currently working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Bury who are seeking reliable individuals to provide targeted intervention support for children with a range of support needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for existing teaching assistants, learning mentors, recent psychology graduates, or experienced support staff who want to make a real difference in education. You’ll play a vital role in boosting pupil progress by working closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support in core subjects like literacy and numeracy from EYFS right the way up to Year 6.
Whether you’re looking for a full-time role, part-time hours to fit around other commitments, or the variety of day-to-day assignments, we have flexible options to suit your schedule. You’ll have the chance to work in a variety of different school settings, gaining valuable experience while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and confidence.

What we’re looking for:
Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting; confident and effective communicators who can engage and motivate pupils in small groups or one-to-one; adaptable and professional individuals with a proactive approach to supporting learning; a DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
