Description
The Interim Legal Counsel - Data Protection will provide international privacy support to the business supporting on product launches. The Interim Legal Counsel - Data Protection will:
* Provide legal advice on data protection and privacy issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements and related legal documentation.
* Support the organisation in responding to data subject access requests and regulatory inquiries.
* Monitor changes in data protection laws and advise on their impact on business operations.
* Conduct training sessions to promote awareness of data protection requirements across teams.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection best practices.
* Manage relationships with external legal advisors as required.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to data protection.
Profile
A successful Interim Legal Counsel - Data Protection should have:
* Proven expertise in data protection laws, including GDPR and other relevant legislation. International exposure would be a real advantage.
* Must be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales holding practising certificate.
* Experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents within the Technology ideally supporting product development in the tech space.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information.
* Excellent communication skills to advise stakeholders at all levels effectively.
* A legal qualification or equivalent professional certification.
* Familiarity with regulatory bodies and procedures in the UK.
* Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professional ethics and integrity.
Job Offer
* Daily rate of approximately £405 to £495 inside IR35, depending on experience.
