HGV Class 1 Driver Stanford-Le-Hope
Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Stanford-Le-Hope completing deliveries from the DC to various store locations. We have options for DAY or NIGHT drivers:
DAYS = STORE DELIVERY
OR
NIGHTS = TRUNKING
HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates
Days: £21.00 p/h PAYE
Nights: £22.18 p/h PAYE
Saturdays: £23.36 p/h PAYE
Sundays: £24.53 p/h PAYE
UMBRELLA (DAYS £23.31ph, NIGHTS £24.62ph, SAT £25.92ph, SUN £27.23ph)
HGV Class 1 Driver role details:
7 Day operation
DAYS OR Nights available
Delivery of white goods - some palletised but majority is white goods
Tail lift deliveries
NIGHTS: Trunking
DAYS: store work, some CSC deliveries as well (curtain trailers)
Mixture of start times - days 5am - 7am and nights 16.00 - 20.00
Assessment / Induction Required. - if passed a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests
Candidate requirements :
Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license (no major endorsements)
Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1
Flexible availability to meet shift requirements
Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Must pass an assessment following with an induction
