Operations & Expansion Manager (UK)
Build and run the next chapter of Henriksson Storage
We’re Henriksson Storage – one of Europe’s fastest-growing self-storage companies. We’re building a smarter, more flexible, and affordable way for people and businesses to store their things — and now we’re expanding across the UK.
We’re looking for a hands-on and ambitious Operations & Expansion Manager to take ownership of our UK operations. Someone who loves to make things happen, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to play a key role in building and scaling our business.
About the role
You’ll be our go-to person in the UK — responsible for both daily site operations and new market expansion.
We currently operate sites across the North and Midlands regions, with several new locations under development. You can be based anywhere with good access to this area — for example Greater Manchester, Sheffield or even London — as long as you’re comfortable travelling regularly between sites as we expand across the UK.”
Your work will range from coordinating with landowners and contractors on site, to managing local administration, suppliers, and improving how we operate day to day.
You’ll be part of a small and driven international team, with strong support from our Swedish HQ — but freedom to act and take initiative locally.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Managing and developing our UK storage sites — ensuring everything runs smoothly on the ground.
* Coordinating landowners, construction partners, and suppliers during setup and operations.
* Handling local administration, contracts, invoicing, and compliance.
* Supporting new site rollouts and identifying opportunities for further expansion.
* Continuously improving workflows and routines to make operations more efficient.
Who you are
You’re entrepreneurial, proactive, and like to take ownership. You enjoy variety — from being out on site to planning next steps for growth — and you’re comfortable working independently to get things done.
We believe you have:
* A few years’ experience in operations, logistics, construction, or site management.
* Strong coordination skills — able to manage multiple stakeholders smoothly.
* A practical understanding (or interest) in UK legal and financial frameworks.
* A structured and self-driven way of working, with a clear sense of responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills in English.

Henriksson Storage is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with a dedicated tech department and a marketing team running the e-commerce side of the business, finding and attracting clients. These teams will support you as you run and expand the business in the UK. Henriksson Storage currently owns 15 sites, of which 5 are in the UK and under development. Over the next 12 months we expect to add an additional 30 sites. We’re looking for people eager to contribute to our mission and help ensure that we continue to scale quickly with the same focus on quality and dedication to our clients.
