We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in Aramco projects, particularly in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase. The engineer will assist the project lead in designing new control systems based on initial designs and contribute to the development of control system design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development of control system design deliverables, including support for P&IDs and Instrument Lists.
- Developing specifications for control systems in accordance with Aramco standards.
- Collaborating with client counterparts and vendors to establish minimum requirements for control systems and interfaces with packages.
- Supporting risk assessments such as Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).
- Preparing technical requisitions and conducting bid evaluations.
- Assisting in the development of Process Control narratives and Cause and Effect diagrams.
- Demonstrating working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511.
- Performing assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists.
- Interfacing with electrical systems and MCC to develop the necessary I/Os.
- Working closely with the Process Design and Project Teams to ensure successful execution of project studies.
- Having experience working with Aramco standards.
