Administration Officer Casual Contract
We are seeking an excellent administration professional to join our Central Trust team on a casual basis, in the role of Administration Officer. About us
We are a friendly and professional team, working from our Central Office in Rochdale. Hollingworth Learning Trust currently has three academies: Hollingworth Academy, Newhouse Academy and Heap Bridge Primary School. Our core purpose is to make a positive difference to the lives of our children. As a sponsor, we support, challenge, and provide expertise and resources to improve education provision.
The Role
The successful candidate will have an administration background, be comfortable using a range of computer software, and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of educational administration. The post is based at the Trust Head Office.
Contract Information
Casual contract, no set hours. The role requires between 3 to 6 months of engagement, typically around 3-4 days each week, with flexible hours. There is no guarantee of hours and assignments can be declined.

Salary
NJC Grade 5, SCP 12. Paid at an hourly rate of £15.13 plus holiday pay.

Eligibility and Requirements
The successful candidate will need to meet the person specification and must apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure and all other pre‑employment checks as outlined in “Keeping Children Safe in Education.” The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, and a background check consistent with “Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025.”
