POSITION PURPOSE To assist senior managers with the presentation and maintenance of the golf courses, ensuring that the courses are at all times presented in the best possible condition. Assist the gardens and grounds team where and when necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cutting of all playing surfaces, set up golf course, raking bunkers, etc. to agreed departmental standards Construction, aeration, and turfing works/duties, as directed Maintain high standards of customer care at all times in line with the resort standards Understand Trump Turnberry’s policies on Health and Safety and ensure that all duties performed are carried out with full regard to the safety of customers, visitors, contractors, and other employees; work within the Health & Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessment, and HAVS Assessment guidelines at all times. Ensure the efficient and effective operation and safe handling of all chemicals following Trump Turnberry policy and procedure. Ensuring relevant records are filled in in a timely manner. To assist in the training and supervision of associates on the use and operation of grass-cutting machinery safely and effectively; care and maintenance of machinery and the reporting of loss or damage to Workshop Manager according to Trump Turnberry’s policy and procedure. Candidate Requirements Eligible to work in the UK. SVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping (Essential) SVQ Level 3 in Greenkeeping ( Desirable) Spraying Certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6 ( Desirable ) Minimum of 5 years practical experience as a greenkeeper Benefits include Subsidised staff accommodation (if required).
