We are currently recruiting for a Sommelier at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Fawsley Hall Hotel is located within Northamptonshire and offers our guest a luxurious stay, the hotel boasts 4 AA Red Stars and Cedar, our award winning 3 AA Rosette restaurant. For rest and relaxation Fawsley Hall is host to one of the Midland's best destination spas and state-of-the-art wellness and health club facilities. Its formal gardens and parkland were sculpted by the renowned architect Capability Brown in the 1760s.,
You will be the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each and every guest feel special and have the ability to encourage and motivate a team to do the same.
Your knowledge of wine will inspire others and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development.
As the Sommelier, you will be responsible for delivering world class wine service across the hotel.
Working with a wonderfully curated wine list containing wines from our own Vineyard, you will use your passion to help drive wine sales, educate the team and impart your knowledge to our guests
You will ensure that all of our glassware is sparkling and correct, as well as liaising with our Head of Wine to keep our wine list up to date, relevant and exciting
As our Sommelier, you will lead and host regular wine tastings, driving the success of these events with your outstanding knowledge of all things wine related You will be educated up to WSET level 3, and have significant experience in a similar luxury hotel environment

This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 45 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
