We are seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Alternative Provision Coordinator to support the delivery of targeted intervention strategies for students whose needs go beyond the Adapted National Curriculum or Bespoke Provision.
You will play a key role in enabling our most complex learners to meaningfully engage in education, develop life skills, and make sustained progress.
If you are calm, creative, and solution-focused – with a clear understanding of holistic support – this may be the role for you.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and delivering intervention plans for individuals and small groups
• Supporting students both on-site and off-site, building strong relationships and trust
• Liaising with internal teams and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress
• Supporting school-wide behaviour strategies, including RPI training (training provided)
• Contributing to ongoing research and innovative practice at the school
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with students with Autism and complex needs
• Understands positive behaviour support and restorative practices
• Demonstrates excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Is emotionally resilient, compassionate and driven by a desire to improve life chances
• Is confident using IT and managing data and records
• Holds (or is willing to work toward) relevant training qualifications, including RPI and First Aid
• Holds a full driving licence and is willing to be trained to drive the school’s minibuses
All training, support, and professional development opportunities will be provided to the successful candidate.
