GSL Education are looking for dedicated and motivated Behaviour Mentors to join schools across Sheffield. About the Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils to support positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. You will provide guidance, encouragement, and one-to-one or small group support, helping pupils engage effectively with their learning and school life. Main Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor : Support pupils in developing positive behaviour and social skills. Work 1:1 or in small groups to mentor and guide pupils. Liaise with teachers and school staff to create a consistent approach to behaviour management. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and personal development. Behaviour Mentor Requirements: Experience working with children in schools or similar settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. A positive, empathetic approach to supporting pupils’ emotional and behavioural needs. Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
