AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 series aircraft. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Technical Services Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with experience working in a Part-145 aircraft maintenance environment. The Technical Services Engineer will support the Technical Services Manager with all aspects of Technical Services and play a key part in the day to day running of the Technical Support Department. In doing so they will be the point of contact for any Technical Services issues during execution and preparation for customer maintenance inputs. This role is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a rotational 5-5-4 day shift pattern. A degree of flexibility is expected including a requirement to work overtime if required. Responsibilities and Duties The Technical Services Engineer is responsible for triaging and executing a suitable resolution to technical queries in a timely manner ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures, this may include dealing with OEM’s and customers. This person will represent the Technical Services team at all required customer meetings, as well as working closely with the Production Planning team to ensure deliverable plans are driven to execution. Provide an escalation path for all technical queries. Perform technical assessments of customer provided work scopes to ensure the request falls within capability and apply technical expertise to consider likely challenges including required skills, tools, access requirements, NDT etc. Responsible for the oversight of the transcribing of customer / CAMO’s maintenance data into approved work packs. Ensure all supplied data from customer / CAMO is accurate. Communicate with OEM / Type Certificate Holder if required on behalf of customer. Work alongside production planners to aid the planning and execution of maintenance inputs. Assist Production Planning in period of sickness and leave. Monitor compliance through sampling. Take ownership of department objectives and goals. Work closely with the Technical Support Manager in creating cross team dynamics and ensure all processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date. Adopt and promote the company Safety, Quality and FOD culture. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures. Promote a just culture and report all incidents and occurrences in the IQSMS portal. Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and lean principles. Required Qualifications & Experience Previous experience within a Base Maintenance / Modification Technical Services role is highly desirable. Have prior experience of accessing on-ling Bombardier / Embraer documents through relevant portals. Be able to interpret technical drawings / documentation. Previous experience with major structural and / or avionic modification inputs is desirable. Experience working with Legacy 600/650, Lineage 1000, Challenger 850 and Challenger 604 aircraft preferable. Hold an EASA Part-66 B1 and / or B2 Licence and / or Aircraft Engineering Degree. Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good understanding of Health and Safety, Human Factors and Regulatory requirements. Flexible worker who is prepared to adjust working hours to meet operational demands. Experience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems. Additional Requirements Candidates must have legal authorisation and the right to work in the UK.
