A thriving and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon is looking to appoint a passionate and skilled Year 4 Class Teacher to join their dedicated Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced or Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on pupil progress.

Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons to a Year 4 class in line with the National Curriculum.

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.

Use a range of assessment methods to monitor pupil progress and tailor teaching accordingly.

Promote excellent behaviour and foster a culture of respect, resilience and responsibility.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to share best practice and support school improvement.
*
Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning and well-being.
*
Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, CPD and extracurricular activities.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
*
Sound knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
