Small Works Project Manager – Fire & Security
North / North Midlands (M1 Corridor – Nottingham to Leeds)

V7 Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established and national leading provider of fire and security solutions. Due to continued growth across the region, we are looking to appoint an experienced Small Works Manager to deliver fast-paced, high-quality small works projects (up to £85k) across the North and North Midlands.
This role will focus on fire detection, CCTV and access control projects, managing works from enquiry through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

The Role As Small Works Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple small projects, coordinating clients, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth and profitable delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing client enquiries and producing quotations for fire and security works
* Carrying out site surveys to understand technical requirements
* Financial forecasting, invoicing and pipeline management
* Proactive use of CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable)
* Working alongside regional Account Managers to achieve financial targets
* Managing projects from quotation through to installation and commissioning
* Overseeing variation management, quality checks and H&S compliance
* Preparing risk and method statements
* Managing subcontractors and engineers on site
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout delivery
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar Small Works / Projects role within fire and/or security
* Strong knowledge of fire systems (including current BS 5839 standards)
* Good understanding of CCTV and access control systems
* Experience in financial forecasting, reporting and pipeline growth
* Ability to meet and exceed agreed sales targets
* Subcontractor management experience (operational & financial)
* Project management and commissioning experience advantageous
* Strong customer-facing and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
