We are partnering with a PE-backed, high-growth executive search firm. The business is entering a major inflection point, moving into a more structured, scalable organisation.
As part of this transformation, They are hiring a Head of Operations, a pivotal hire designed to give senior leadership the bandwidth to focus on clients, revenue, and strategic expansion.
This is a broad, high-impact role with real exposure, autonomy, and progression as the business scales toward an eventual exit.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of client management, operations, marketing enablement, and delivery excellence.
You will become the operational backbone for growth activities — the person who ensures the business runs smoothly, clients are impressed, processes work, and reporting is always accurate.
You’ll partner closely with exceptional senior stakeholders who needs a trusted, capable, switched-on operator to take ownership of key functions.
What You’ll Lead
Client Reporting & Insights
* Own quarterly client reporting and account reviews
* Prepare high-quality client materials; occasionally join client calls
* Build structured account plans for key retained clients
Marketing & Thought Leadership Ops
* Set up and manage marketing operations
* Support LinkedIn content, “appointed” announcements, and thought-leadership cadence
* Oversee event calendar and evaluate ROI
Operational Excellence
* Tighten SOW governance and error-proof delivery
* Improve knowledge management and business systems
* Implement scalable processes across practices
Team Leadership
* Manage a small team
* Support consultants’ development and internal best practice
* Be the "safe pair of hands" who knows what good looks like
Who This Suits
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in executive search or recruitment (ideally previously a fee-earner or operations/business partner)
* Process-led, highly organised, detail-driven
* Commercial, intelligent, and resourceful
* Able to work directly with senior leadership and influence how a business scales
* Comfortable rolling up their sleeves when needed
* Strong in client communication and business acumen
* A natural project manager with the ability to simplify complex work
* Experienced managing people (or a superstar ready for that next step)
