We are on the lookout for a Deputy Nursery Manager with a passion for early childhood education to lead an ‘outstanding’ rated setting North West London. This well-established nursery offers a beautiful secure building, with a range of facilities including an all-weather garden. This nursery is close to the tube and well served by local bus routes. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Manager in providing the highest standards of care, education, and compliance for children and help to manage the daily operations of the nursery, including building positive partnerships with staff and parents. Responsibilities: Help to ensure the smooth running of the nursery along with the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families Create an environment where all children receive engaging experiences suitable for their age and stage of development Ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery Ensure individual care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges to continue their knowledge and skills development Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – ideally higher qualifications in childcare or leadership Previous experience of working in a childcare environment with management responsibilities Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements Ideally, experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate Are you ready to take the next step in your childcare career?
