Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) - Secondary School - Lambeth - ASAP Start- 110 - 115 per day (depending on experience)
Overview
Youth Worker Required for a Mainstream Secondary School in the borough of Lambeth. You will be providing behavioural and pastoral support to students and will work to support those with challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1, in-class, and outside-class support to students.
* Work with students who display challenging behaviour and support rapport-building with students.
* Utilise effective behaviour management techniques to support a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with the school’s behavioural support team to deliver consistent support.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 1 year of experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Team Teach/Physical Intervention training is desirable.
