Apply Save An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist or Pharmacist Manager to join a well-established community pharmacy in Bristol.
This is a friendly, supportive environment with a steady workflow and a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care and services.
The Role
1. Working pattern: 4 or 5 days per week
Weekend rota:
4 days: preferably every other Saturday
5 days: 1 in 3 Saturdays
2. Hours: 9-hour shifts (including paid lunch break)
3. Dispensing volume: Approx. 6,000 items per month
4. System: Titan PMR
Salary
5. Pharmacist Manager: Up to £ per hour (depending on experience, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates or Independent Prescribers)
6. Pharmacist: Up to £26£27 per hour (depending on experience, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates or Independent Prescribers)
Key Responsibilities
7. Deliver safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing services
8. Provide a full range of NHS and private pharmacy services, including (but not limited to):
New Medicine Service (NMS)
Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS)
Flu vaccinations and other seasonal services
Private consultations and services
9. Offer professional advice on medicines, minor ailments, and general healthcare
10. Build strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries, and the wider healthcare team
11. Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and pharmacy regulations
12. Lead, support, and develop the pharmacy team (Manager role)
13. Maintain high standards of customer service and patient care
Candidate Requirements
14. GPhC registered Pharmacist
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
16. Ability to work efficiently in a busy but manageable environment
17. A proactive and patient-centred approach
18. Independent Prescriber qualification desirable but not essential
