Job Summary
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will look after the various needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support, leading a team of care staff, training, supervising, delegating duties, administering medication, updating care plans, liaising with GP's, district nursing teams, and residents’ families, ensuring dignity and a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing training, supervision, and delegation on shift.
* Administer, order, and manage medication as required.
* Review, update, and risk assess resident care plans.
* Liaise with GP's, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
* Ensure residents' dignity and preferences are respected and contribute to a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Previous experience in a residential care setting.
* Proven team leadership skills.
* Ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents’ needs and well‑being.

Person Specification
