Responsibilities
Support the child with emotional and behavioural support, feeding and personal care. Assist with activities such as baking, gardening, arts and crafts, soft play, playground visits, and other interests. Adapt communication to the child’s needs and follow their lead. Respect the child's gender non‑conformity.
Qualifications
* Must have a driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* No allergy to cats.
* Non‑smoker.
Preferred
* Understanding of PDA would be ideal.
Salary and Hours
Salary: £12.71 per hour (employed) / £16 per hour (self‑employed).
Work hours: 6 hrs per week during term time and 18 hrs per week during school holidays.
Contract Details
Contract type: Part‑time, flexible.
Holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks pro‑rata (or rolled‑up holiday pay for employed PA).
Benefits: Employer’s pension scheme, flexible working pattern (employed PA).
Flexible support days/times and job share may be explored if appropriate.
