Business Development Manager - Newport
1. Salary: Negotiable basic salary with a strong OTE available based on performance.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Business Development Manager at our client's multi-franchise approved car & van dealership in Newport!
Reporting to the management team, your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager shall include, and are not limited to, the following:
4. The sales of both Light Commercial Vehicles and fleet Passenger Cars.
5. Prospecting for new and existing local business vehicle sales.
6. Achieving agreed vehicle sales targets.
7. Contribute to the achievement of customer retention.
8. Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all vehicles/services provided by our client.
9. Provide reports on all sales activities, including follow-up, prospecting, new clients, etc.
10. Ensure the completion of all sales and finance paperwork accurately and promptly.
11. Ensure that all outstanding amounts are paid within the timescales required.
12. Use an approved FCA approach in the presentation and sale of financial and insurance products.
13. Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
To be eligible, you shall need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Newport and have a UK driving licence with minimal points. Due to the nature of this position, previous commercial vehicle sales experience within the automotive sector is essential, ideally from a business development environment.
Overall, you shall have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer care and be well-presented, proactive, self-motivated, and tenacious with a demonstrable success in business-to-business sales.
