We require CNC Turners to work on a permanent basis for various clients across Plymouth. What You’ll Do: * Set, operate, and program CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision parts. * Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications. * Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to achieve optimum performance. * Inspect and verify finished components using precision measuring equipment. * Maintain machine performance and ensure consistent quality standards. * Collaborate with other engineering departments towards Continuous Improvement. What We’re Looking For: * Recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline. * Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Ideally with Fanuc and / or Mazak). * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances. * An excellent eye for detail and commitment to producing first-class work. * Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. * A passion for precision and pride in craftsmanship. The clients we’re working with run 24/7 facilities therefore all of these positions are working weekly rotating shift patterns comprising of days and lates.
