Senior HGV / Heavy Plant Engineer – Fitter
Location: Bicester, with UK-wide travel
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Overtime Van Allowances

Join a well-established, industry-leading specialist equipment provider offering a rare opportunity for a Senior HGV or Heavy Plant Engineer to step into a high-responsibility, hands-on role working with advanced mechanical and hydraulic systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain concrete and heavy plant equipment including mixers, pumps, silos, batching plants, and volumetric mixers.
* Work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical (12/24V & 3-Phase), and electronic systems (e.g., CANbus, PLC).
* Travel to customer sites across the UK for servicing and repairs.
* Support and mentor junior engineers and fitters.
* Carry out inspections, fault diagnostics, and final commissioning of repaired equipment.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven senior-level experience in HGV or heavy plant engineering.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
* Experience with diagnostics, 12/24V electrical systems, 3-phase power, and control electronics.
* Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally on customer sites.
* Full UK driving licence.
