The OpportunityWe are seeking an organised, proactive Post Exchange Conveyancing Executive to join a busy Chelmsford office. You will work closely with five full-time fee earners, supporting a varied caseload and ensuring the smooth progression of matters from exchange through to completion and registration.This is a key operational role within our Property department.Key ResponsibilitiesPost Exchange & Post Completion WorkPrepare and manage all post-exchange administration, including completion statements, and liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties.Complete all post-completion tasks such as: SDLT returnsAP1 applicationsNotices and dischargesLand Registry documentationMonitor and respond promptly to Land Registry requisitions.Chase outstanding documents from lenders, landlords, and managing agents to ensure efficient registrations.File & Workflow ManagementMaintain accurate and compliant file records throughout the post-completion process.Track key dates, deadlines, and workflows to support timely completions.Keep fee earners updated and escalate issues where required.Prepare files for closure.Client & Stakeholder CommunicationProvide clear, timely updates to clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.Deliver excellent service throughout the final stages of property transactions.Team SupportWork closely with a team of five fee earners across residential and commercial property.Suggest process improvements to support team efficiency.Provide general pre-exchange support where needed.About YouExperience in a post-exchange or post-completion conveyancing role (residential or commercial).
