Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker's to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing in various settings, including assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve through personalised care and assistance in Learning disabilities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Manage behaviour effectively, employing strategies to promote calmness and stability. Prepare nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the client and yourself. Support clients with dementia care, employing patience and understanding in all interactions. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in home care or senior care is highly desirable. Knowledge of assisted living practices and familiarity with nursing home environments is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the clients. A caring nature with excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care would be beneficial but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to the individual needs of each client. Full UK Driving License Weekly pay available, starting from £12.50 - £16 per hour depending on shift. Days - 7:30am - 21:30pm/21.30pmam Night payment will kick in after 8pm.
