About Star Salford Academy

Star Salford Academy is a 5-form entry mixed secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds, which opened in September 2023. Like all Star schools, Star Salford Academy has a leadership specialism.

We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action. Our pursuit of educational excellence is based upon our fundamental belief that every pupil has the capacity to become a successful and inspirational leader.

During its opening year, the school admitted an intake of 150 pupils in Year 7. We will continue to admit a new intake of Year 7 pupils at the beginning of each academic year.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help to deliver an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You Will Have

* A degree qualification or equivalent.
* Experience of financial administration within a school setting.
* Experience of working in a financial role.
* The ability to use management information systems; and be able to transfer the experience of using one system to another similar system if needs be.
* The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of people.
