As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in managing store operations, driving sales, and leading a cohesive team to deliver memorable customer experiences. This role offers opportunities to grow within the company and develop in retail management.
Key Responsibilities
* Be a role model by motivating and engaging the team to live brand values and maintain an inclusive, positive working atmosphere that celebrates success.
* Deliver outstanding service to customers and demonstrate model behaviours for the team.
* Assist in driving sales, maintaining standards, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Communicate efficiently on the floor and behind the scenes; develop and maintain relationships across the business, with customers and community partners.
* Partner with the Store Manager to generate innovative and engaging marketing ideas.
* Take ownership of stock management and executing visual merchandising guidelines; contribute to and deliver on store KPIs.
* Educate the team as the product expert and knowledgeable trainer, advising customers as needed.
* Foster a supportive, productive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
* Support the store management team in opening/closing, cash handling, stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, well-presented store.
* Deliver authentic customer service that creates lasting impressions.
* Maintain compliance with company policies including health and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
* Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
* Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Passion for the brand lifestyle.
* Self-starter and ambitious with motivation to achieve and exceed store targets.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
