Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, innovative, and competent lecturer to join the School of Vocational and Professional Studies delivering qualifications across a range of levels in our high performing Childhood Studies curriculum area.
Responsibilities
Work in classroom-based teaching environments, planning, teaching and assessing learners’ work; take on the role of personal tutor to several cohorts. The hours of work could include evening sessions. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience
Both vocational and teaching experience, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at a minimum Level 2. Good administration, interpersonal and IT skills are essential.
