About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support high‑quality commercial insight, performance analysis and decision support.
This is a true Finance Business Partner role, not a reporting or management accounting position. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor, driving financial insight, and supporting strategic, commercial and operational decision‑making.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ICAS) with hands-on understanding of financial processes.

• Provide clear financial insight, analysis and challenge to support decision‑making
• Own forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting across the portfolio
• Analyse profitability, cost drivers, trends and variances
• Support strategic initiatives and investment business cases
What Makes This Role Different
• Business partnering first, reporting second
• You are the trusted finance advisor to senior stakeholders
• Your insight directly drives commercial and financial performance
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with stakeholders to support commercial decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting cycles
• Deliver management information, analysis and insight

• Track and explain performance—AuM, flows, fee revenue, KPIs, cost trends and profitability—highlighting what matters most.
• Support pricing decisions and strategic initiatives
• Challenge assumptions and highlight risks and opportunities
• Maintain strong financial control and governance
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAS) or equivalent expertise.
• Proven Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance experience
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical capability

• Ability to challenge and influence constructively
• Clear communication of financial insight
