Summary
As a Senior Product Manager you will be passionate about building products that customers love, directing the product management function from design and build through to launch and maintenance. You will demonstrate solid knowledge of the business and customer needs, analysing market and competitive conditions, utilising your experience to influence a product vision that differentiates and delivers unique value based on customer demands. You will develop strong working relationships with other Senior Product Managers to collaborate on cross-product squad priorities and, as a leader, drive, coach and support the continuous maturity of the Product Management Community.
In this role, you will be accountable for the strategic evolution of retail store infrastructure, ensuring in-store platforms, networks, and technologies are resilient, secure, scalable, and fit to support current and future product requirements. You will own the infrastructure product vision and roadmap for stores, aligning closely with business, architecture, engineering, and security stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions that enable innovation at pace.

What you'll do
10. Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the wider business vision, with OKRs aligned across all levels of Product
11. Collaborate closely with senior partners aligning business, product, infrastructure, and technical priorities to set the product function direction and evangelise product and infrastructure roadmaps
12. Lead Product Managers through the Product Management lifecycle, ensuring success measures are defined and tracked. Drive the squad to successfully adopt DevOps, supporting the triage and resolution of major incidents where required and collaborating with Engineering and Technical Programme Management to ensure operational success
13. Pro-actively identify and apply insight from customer research, data analytics, market and competitor analysis — including trends in retail store infrastructure and in-store technology — to ensure M&S is best in class
14. Act as the subject matter expert for retail store infrastructure, maintaining a strong understanding of how competitors and leading retailers are evolving their in-store platforms, networks, and technologies. Work closely with other Product Managers across the store and retail technology landscape to ensure infrastructure requirements
Who you are
15. Extensive experience in product management, successfully developing and delivering product strategies, roadmaps, and optimising complex products
16. Deep understanding of the relevant product area and customer needs, with the ability to drive customer-led outcomes in an Agile environment
17. Strong understanding of retail store infrastructure concepts, including in-store platforms, networks, hardware, security, and lifecycle management, and how they enable digital product experiences
18. Expertise in managing product health and performance through key SLAs, including availability, usage, performance, resilience, security, and scale metrics. Strong skills in backlog prioritisation, Agile methodologies, and financial acumen to demonstrate product value
19. Excellent leadership, communication, and product optimisation skills, using experimentation and user science tools to influence and validate product direction
