The Apprenticeship
We are currently seeking an apprentice to join our Systems team at A&O Shearman Belfast. The team forms part of the wider HR Support Service Centre at A&O Shearman, providing a first-class service to the firm, offering high-quality administration support services through a range of specialist teams including HR Advice, HR Systems & Reporting, Graduate Recruitment, Payroll & Reward, Training Events, and Global Mobility.
The role will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 3.5 years and will be an opportunity to earn while you learn, working as part of a very experienced HR team. In partnership with Ulster University, we are committed to investing in your development enabling you to gain a BSc in Leading on Customer Operations.
In addition to this, you will learn how the business operates and gain a variety of skills by supporting the firm's global people systems and handling requests for HR data and management information. The role involves working with and supporting our international offices from day one. Working across core HR Systems processes will provide you with practical experience that will help you think differently and embrace an exciting future filled with unique challenges and broad opportunities.
Key Requirements
* Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs of grade C or above, including English and Mathematics, and a minimum of 2 A Levels of grade C or above.
* A collaborative team player with good communication skills.
* Good time management and strong attention to detail.
* Previous experience is not required; however, preference will be given to candidates demonstrating administrative skills or experience.
