As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role in developing accurate, customer-focused proposals by working closely with sales, engineering, and procurement teams. You will help translate client needs into clear, compelling documentation that aligns with internal capabilities and pricing strategies.
This is a permanent position within a collaborative and supportive international business environment.
This role is ideal for professionals within the engineering, commercial projects, technical sales, or proposal development sectors, particularly those with experience in cost estimation, technical writing, or client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Review customer specifications and identify key proposal requirements
Prepare clear, accurate, and costed technical and commercial proposals
Work with sales, engineering, and procurement to compile supporting information
Maintain proposal documentation and ensure content is customer-aligned
Contribute to internal review processes and support continuous improvement
Gain product knowledge by participating in site visits or pilot trials
Key Requirements:
Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or General Engineering
Strong technical understanding with the ability to interpret technical information
Excellent communication and writing skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience with SAP or Salesforce is a plus
