Authentic Education is seeking a Senior Information Services Manager to lead our central ICT team and oversee the delivery of robust, secure, and forward-thinking digital systems across the Trust.
This is a senior technical role with strategic oversight. You'll be responsible for managing infrastructure, guiding service improvement, and mentoring a high-performing team — all while ensuring our digital environment supports effective teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing the ICT support team across multiple sites
* Managing third line support and resolving complex technical issues
* Overseeing network infrastructure, MIS systems, and digital safeguarding protocols
* Driving service-level improvements and ensuring system resilience
* Managing supplier relationships and ICT budgets at allocated sites
* Supporting disaster recovery planning, asset lifecycle management, and compliance
* Advising on emerging technologies and contributing to Trust-wide digital strategy
We're looking for someone who:
* Has extensive experience in senior ICT support, ideally within education
* Can lead with empathy, clarity, and technical rigour
* Understands the importance of secure, accessible systems in a learning environment
* Is confident managing infrastructure, licensing, virtualisation, and cloud services
* Can mentor others and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
* Is committed to safeguarding, data protection, and inclusive digital practice
