We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned motorsport and automotive restoration specialist who are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive accounting professional to work in a dynamic, high-performance environment, supporting decision-making across a range of exciting projects.
The Role
This organisation combines decades of heritage in motorsport, engineering and restoration, delivering world-class builds, race support and bespoke projects. As Management Accountant, you will provide accurate financial reporting, analysis and insight, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal deadlines.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and commentary.
*
Monitor project costs, margins and overheads, providing insight to operational and commercial teams.
*
Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
*
Provide timely reporting to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities and performance trends.
*
Contribute to process improvements, ensuring finance supports the wider goals of the motorsport and restoration business.
About You:

Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*
Experience in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, motorsport or similarly project-driven environments.
*
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
*
Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
*
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.
*
Proactive, organised and able to adapt to the demands of a fast-paced industry.
